Volkswagen Gen.E : The futuristic and mysterious “research vehicle”
Volkswagen recently revealed the direction they intend to go in for their 2020 Golf. Volkswagen have assembled an electronic concept vehicle, whilst showcasing robotic charging station technology.
At this moment in time, one can only guess what the Gen.e design holds for the feature. Insiders believe it’s contemporary styling provides clues to the new Golf, which is planned for 2020.
Although it is said to be a test bed for charging robots, The Gen.e is built for aerodynamics and is believed to have a range of up to 250 miles.
In terms of the design, the Gen.E is a 3 door hatchback with a thin wide grille attached to the headlights, with headlights very similar to the e-Golf.
Could the Gen.e design resurface for future VW concept designs? Will parts of the Gen.E appear on the new Golf? Only time will tell.
